Dollar Opens Higher as Markets Eye Trump’s Tariff Plans

The Brazilian real weakened against the U.S. dollar in early trading on Monday (24), as investors remained on edge over potential new tariff measures from U.S. President Donald Trump.
At 9:39 a.m. (Brasília time), the spot dollar was up 0.30%, trading at R$ 5.7454.
The currency had already gained ground on Friday (21), closing 0.69% higher at R$ 5.7156.
